I guess I should start knitting more.

Gas prices are supposed to soar soon, and the cost of heat is rumorred to sky rocket come winter. Time to invest in sweaters and mittons. The worst part is that my current place has very poor insulation in the windows and it's a stand alone house, so unlike an apartment in a complex, I lose heat through every wall. Fortunately, the cats have fur. They'll adjust. I, on the otherhand, will gasp at the force feild of cold that I must courage through every morning as I try to pry myself out from under my warm feather down comforter. Whoever invented mornings should be kicked in the shin.

That's not to say I don't like the winter. In fact I think I sleep best in a cold room with lots of comfy warm blankets, and I love that nip in the air, but... being cold all the time is painful. And being poor because of astronomical heating bills is also painful, but in a more spiritual sense. Spiritual in that I won't have extra spending money to fund my excessive and unneeded purchases of make up and mini recess peanut butter cups. I mean, if we can't have all the make up and mini recess peanut butter cups we want in life, are we really free? ;)
